Special thanks to Heather for coordinating an amazing bike ride and picnic not only for our local alumni....but alumni from across the Atlantic Ocean! We were joined by Georg Burchardi (A-95) from Hamburg, Germany who was in Massachusetts visiting other alumni.

Starting in Cambridge, MA at the Alewife T-Station, Heather gave us an overview of the trail, instructed us on proper hand signals and shared with us bike etiquette on the trail. Then we headed out for a great ride through Arlington, Lexington and out to Bedford, MA.

There was plenty of nature and scenery along the way. We found a great secluded place for a picnic and rested in the sunshine before our return trip back to Cambridge.

If you've never been on the Minuteman Trail, you've got to check it out. The two-lane trail is paved from Cambridge to Bedford and is very scenic.
