Rachel shares the following:

Hi there,

My name is Rachel (Wood) Olbrys. I traveled with D92.

After traveling, I finished school and got my teaching degree. I met my hubby Stephen after traveling, at my best friends wedding. We got married in August 97. We lived in Indiana for 5 years while he got his Ph. D's....I have worked tons of different jobs, but not teaching, in order to survive the flatlands out there :)

The greatest thing that has happened is that I got into training Search and Rescue Dogs. I joined the Indiana FEMA team, and worked my young dog, Odysseus. We (Hubby and three dogs total) all moved back to Mass (my homeland). I am now working in an office full time. I belong to the Mass. FEMA team with Ody. and am going to school nights for my EMT cert.

Odysseus and I were honored to go to the WTC disaster in September and work for 8 days. It was an unforgettable experience. Now, I am finishing classes, looking foward to the reunion, and looking foward to getting my EMT lic, so that I can join the Amherst Fire Department!
