Sarah Horner (E89) : Summer Fun in CA!

Hi Friends ~

As some of you may know, the summer camp I work for is "partners" with
Catalina Island Camps, a resident camp on Catalina Island. They are starting
their summer hiring for summer 2003 and are looking for wonderful young
people who want to spend their summer outside making a difference!

So ... I thought I would email all of you to see if you know anyone who
might be interested in spending their summer on the island, working with
kids! It is absolutely beautiful at the camp ~ and lots of fun activities
for the campers (sailing, snorkeling, kayaking, water skiing, climbing wall,
etc!!!). My brother has told me that I can give a CIC t-shirt to you if you
actually refer someone they hire (maybe I can get a cute visor thrown in,
too!) ... how can you pass up an offer like this?

Here are the details ...

The dates for camp are June 9th through August 18th ... They are looking for
Cabin Counselors, waterfront specialists (sailing instructors, powerboat
drivers, snorkeling instructors and more!), rockclimbing/high ropes
counselors, art and crafts, archery, drama, music, and pretty much every
other fun position you can think of at a camp!. The applicants need to have
completed at least one year of college (or at least 19 years old).
(Unfortunately for us, the applicants do need to be US citizens because of
Visa problems challenges).
